Comment on introductions in class today!

Hi All-

-Go to your introductions.
-Comment on the introductions right BEFORE yours and right AFTER yours.
Comments should include:

1.  Comment on organization.  Does it make sense or should some material be moved around?
2.  Comment on content:  Is there enough context?  Too much?  A clear thesis?
3.  Comment on interest level:   Is it interesting?  How could it be more interesting?
4.  Check for thesis:  Is the thesis clear?  Does it address two perspectives?  Is it specific?
5.  Check for errors:  Spelling?  Grammar?  Fragments?  Varied sentence length?  Verb tense?

You may then begin to revise your own.  The introductions must be revised and typed on paper for tomorrow.

4.  Provide a clear thesis.
5. Cite your sources (author's last name    page number or date you viewed the url).

Indenting and italics do not show up in the blog so don't worry.  With two paragraphs, enter in a few line spaces to show a difference between the two paragraphs.
